it was stock and had a lot of miles on it. it was weird, i thought it would be a lot faster than my prelude. it was actually the other way around. i think it might not have been boosting right. it wouldn't get up past the 7 on the stock boost guage until over 4k rpm. i really did like the AWD setup though. kicks the ass of FWD if you ask me (please don't flame, i've had FWD for way too long!) mechanically everything looked fine. no torn cv boots, no leaks around transfer case. there was a little power steering fluid on the reservoir where you fill it up. the guy said it would loose a little bit every now and then so he filled it up earlier today. the guy was asking $2,500 but we settled on $2,000. the car had 146k miles on it, so i'm saving $2,000 just in case something bad happens. but as for the rest of my money, well that will be spent on 12's. no not subwoofers!!
so this car should be a totally different beast with a full 3" exhaust, K&N intake filter, and AVC-R, right? i hope so. i really like AWD launches!
oh yeah, i was expecting the shifter to feel like a piece of crap after everything i've heard about them on these cars. i was very pleasantly surprised. shifter felt perfectly fine. this is coming from a guy used to shifting buttery smooth honduh transmissions too!
