so im told by 99gs420a (a new member here) that my problem with my 2 cylinders with no spark could be a little blue plug... and i quote

"If so on your wiring harness look for a little blue plug with a single connector, this connector is for your tach, it has a blue and black wire attached to it, these two wires lead all the way back in to the ptu if those two wires come separated it will cause cyl 2&3 to go dead"

2 questions, does he mean a blue and black wire, or a blue and a black wire, just to be sure. and another thing, where is this freaking plug, ive been gone to iraq for the past year and im having a hard time getting familiar with the car again, its just been so long.

the only reason i ask is because hes on vacation and i cant seem to get a hold of him and ive cant wait much longer to tackle this thing.

no no, its not the ptu, i know what that is and its been replaced. im sure its this little plug 99gs420a is talking about. this plug controlled the tach in some way. the wire lead from the ptu to this plug. i just cant find it. does any one know where it is?

well, i found that little blue plug we were talking about, its called the engine speed sensor connector. im going to fix that today.

hmm, i had an epiphany last night about it, 1 and a half years ago when this started, it was intermediate when at first, if it was these two wires not being connected anymore would explain why it even could be intermediate if it wasn't one of those major spark controlling parts. and i thingk i know why it started all along. just before the issue started, i installed poly motor mounts, it could have shook them loose. but hell im just guessing. but its a theory.
