Nice I'm excited to see what you put down. Are you going to be tuning it on pump or race?

Pump gas, plus water injection with either a 50/50 or a 75/25 meth/h2o mix. I'd like to run around 25-27 psi which should max out the turbo at 52-53 lbs of airflow. I'll just have to see where the #'s fall.

Yet another delay-I got the wrong exhaust housing for the second time with my turbo. Considering I placed the order before december, this is starting to get really old. Plus I spent a good amount of time porting the replacement housing, which I now have to send back.

Are you ordering from slowboy??? If you are which exhaust housing did the turbo come with? I thought all GT12 was a bolt on with a mitsu housing? WTF

Thats true, I did order from slowboy, and they do have the exhaust housings patterned off the mitsubishi housings, but they are not made by mitsubishi. They are patterned off the mitsu housings so they bolt right up to the stock o2 housing and exhaust manifold. Actually Slowboy is having pte cast them(I don't know who designed them), so they are coming from pte and it's pte that screwed up my order twice. The first time they machined out the divider and I have a external dump on my o2 so that wouldn't work. The second time the housing wasn't even for my turbo at all. Thank god when we were putting it on the turbo we noticed it wasn't quite right, since otherwise it would've eatin up the turbine wheel as soon as we started my car up. Dj dosen't even think the housing they sent me is for a gt series turbo at all. Mind you, I'm not blaming slowboy since they are trying to get this settled quickly. However it still dosent change the fact that I feel I'm getting inferior service. After the first time the housing was wrong I said lets just eliminate the internal wastegate and get a 125 refund and weld an external wastegate in my o2 for 200, but I was told it would take too long(two weeks). Well two weeks later I got my incorrect, internally gated housing from ups. Now I'm waiting to find out how long on my third turbine housing. If they don't have one in stock then I want to go external. I guess I'll see.

I'm waiting to hear how long pte is going to take with the third housing. Hopefully slowboy will light a fire underneath their butt.

Don't forget that slowboys been fine so far, it's been pte that's been holding everything up. Maybe you should ask the guys at slowboy first if your turbo's in stock, or if it needs parts ordered from pte for it.

Here's an update on my horrible experience with pte. As you know I found out the second exhaust housing sent by pte was wrong last tuesday, and we were really hoping they would make this thier first priority and finally get me the right one asap. Well they refused to believe that they screwed it up again and said they wouldn't replace it. So we sent it back to slowboy, and they looked at it and said its obvious that its wrong and that pte would have to send me another one, and they then relented. Now, I asked for it to be externally gated last time but they said it would take too long(two weeks), and then two weeks later I received a internally gated one. Now we are again asking for it to be externally gated and they are refusing again. The guys at slowboy are trying to convince them to do it, but I guess I'll have to see what I get now, on the third try for them to get it right. This is by far the worst customer service and experience dealing with a vendor I've ever had in my life. I've done nothing wrong, I haven't harrassed them, been a jerk-nothing. I haven't even talked to them-dj of etmotorsports and the guys at slowboy have done all of that. I guess I'm just venting and hoping that if I start posting about this that they will finally get me my externally gated gt3076r turbine housing.

I just ordered a PTE SCM50 BB from TheSpeedFactor & it's going to take PTE 3 weeks to get me my turbo. Hopefully it'll be what I ordered!

Update on pte's terrible service-supposedly pte has now finished my third turbine housing, and I still don't know yet if it's set up to be internally or externally gated. The new issue is that pte only ships on fridays, so they want me to wait till next friday before they bother to ship it. Both Dj and the guys at slowboy are doing everything they can to get it shipped directly to me on monday. I'm so mad about the whole thing that I don't think I could talk civilly to the people at pte-unfortunately I'm known for my violent temper. I should have the next update monday or tuesday.
