Hey guys, I did a little bit of searching before I posted and I only came up with this thread.
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/drivetrain-tech/266023-driveshaft-wont-go-into-transaxle.html
Anyways, I am putting together my Galant Vr-4 that I purchased not to long ago, car came with driveshaft, rear, trans, ect (basically a complete car with just the head off the engine). Tonight I tried to put together the rest of the car, and when I tried to put the driveshaft into the transfer case it would go in about 1 inch and then stop, I tried pushing a little bit and got it on a little more but then the Tcase wouldn't spin on the driveshaft.
I checked all the splines and cleaned the Tcase and driveshaft splines and eveything looks good, I have no idea what could be causing this problem and it seems like only one other person has had this problem, anybody have any advice? any help is greatly appreciated!
