So I had my 1g transfer case go on me... no oil in it at all... I got one from an auto wrecker and they sent me an automatic tranny transfer case... went on the drive shaft no problem but wouldn't bolt up... duh! Anyway they replaced it with a manual one and now it won't go on the drive shaft all the way... it gets most of the way on but then seems to be getting stuck on something... the busted one slides on no problem too... WHAT THE HECK!!! Any idea whats going on here... I have to get up super early to get it put on as it's too dark to be screwing around with it now. Any ideas at all would really help!!! I'm in a massive pinch as it is my work car, stupid idea I know!!

I woke up super early this morning dreading dealing with it... I got under there again and gave it a good shove and it was still a bit stiff but it went on enough to let me bolt it up. I tested it by going very slowly around the block and it seems fine! Super retarded... guess it was just really stiff and I was already tired and frustrated (from cross treading an exhaust nut). Thanks for the reply!!
I'm just stoked that the VC and the Centre diff didn't go at the same time as the transfer case.
