My car got broken into about six months or so ago. The way they got in was they pried back the driver's side window seal and slid a slimjim down inside and flipped the lock.

Ever since they pried back the window seal, the window hasn't rolled up straight (It'd roll up straight before then, though.)

I've lubed/cleaned the tracks several times and even replaced the front rubber track/seal piece thinking that'd help... no dice.

I opened up the door panel and couldn't see much of anything. What could be out of place and how do I fix it? DETAILED pictures would be appreciated.

mine never closes straight, for some reason the front twards the mirror goes up slower. the back hits and the front comes up the rest of the way

Mine doesn't even *hit*, it slides out the back and smashes the seal, and closes every way wrong.

Have you rolled it up and down with the door panel off??Guessing so..I've had this happen in a break in on my old 1g and they messed up the guides pretty bad, wasn't noticeable until you watched it go up and down and watch the other side with the panel off to see what it looks like going up and down.

Check your window for little plastic pieces that hold your glass to the rail thing. I cant really explain it. But if those are lose, it wont allow the window to stay sturdy on the way up. It could be those. not sure. On a gsx that i have, they are broken and the window goes outside of the black molding and it doesn't seal correctly and it is due to the little white pieces. If you roll the window all the way down and look in the bottom left hand side (by where the door latches on the car to shut), you should see a little whit piece that holds the window. Could check that.

When you take the driver side door panel off there are two 12mm nuts on the upper left hand side, they have little star bolts in them.

My window was leaking, I then adjusted those nuts and it moved my window over a little bit and created a seal. I don't know if that is your problem but it is worth a shot.

If it were me I wouldn't trust anything in that door anymore. I would consider a complete teardown. Do a close inspection on all the parts inside. Replace and fix what is neccesary.
