Shimming Driver's Side Window

This might be specific to 90's, and I believe it is. The Talon and the Eclipse have the same problem; when the window is rolled up (with the electric motors, not manual), the glass gets 'caught' on the forward most part, arching the back out of it's slide and taking forever to roll completely up without an gap.
I know that there's a TSB on it through Mitsubishi, but I can't find it anywhere any more, let alone it wasn't very descriptive.
Anyone else have this problem and how did they go about fixing the problem?

Pull the rubber out and make sure that there is no rust behind it. IT will cause the rubber track to push out. Also lubing the rubber track will help.

Personally, I took the rubber out and spread apart the metal channels then reinstalled the rubber to the point where the window went up and down without an issue but make sure to not spread them too much, because you will get some wind noise at highway speeds.

Sounds like a plan. I'll give them a shot. Rather annoying to have to roll the window up and down for it to actually close.

Before I fixed mine, I had to hold the back of the window down when i was rolling it up so it wouldnt pop out.

Just spray some silicone in the front and rear window tracks and work the window a few times.
