Resolved Driver side motor mount to block torque

Can anyone tell me the torque spec to tighten my driver side motor mount down to the block? I searched but couldn't find it.

Just snug it down, it's not critical. The only thing I torque at work is wheels, cylinder heads, and calipers that mount into aluminum knuckles.

Yea that's what I was thinking. I just wanted to make sure. I definitely have more than you listed torqued to spec though. I've heard too many stories of critical bolts backing out.

Nuts/bolt on top: 49 ft.lbs.
Bolt through side: 72-87 ft.lbs.

It is always a good idea to do things the RIGHT way!

I agree, but that doesn't mean I have comebacks due to something not being tightened to spec. Over time you get a good feel for what things need 10-20ft lbs, 30-50, and 60+ up. Believe it or not but a 6"inch long basic ratchet can tighten to 90ftlbs without hurting yourself/ really heaving on it.

There is the 100% by the book way which covers every little detail and maybe on my own car I'll follow the procedure. When it comes to work - doing things by the book doesn't make you efficient - wasting time on torquing every little nut and bolt to spec. and following unnecessary steps.
If you tighten something, yet your worried about it backing off - you either think things need to be incredibly tight, or you need to put down your purse and tighten it up - and I don't mean putting your weight on the ratchet/wrench.
I guess it's easier understood once you are in the industry for some time.
