The drivers side power window is not responisive. But that is just the beginning, every control on the driver powerwindow/doorswitch does not work. The door lock button will not work, the control to roll down the passenger side door will not work, and of course the drivers side window will not roll down. But you can roll the passenger side window down with the passerger side switch AND when you put the window lock on the driver's side, the passenger window will not work anymore. Any ideas? I did change the whole switch in the driver's side door, with no luck.

p.s. when I completely take out the drivers side switch the passenger window will not work at all, I am assuming they are on the same circuit and need to be complete

First of all try to switch the control panel for the switches. Then run down ## wiring and check to see if u have a bad wire.

^^^Does sound like a harness issue.

I would suspect the most likely problem is going to be some broken wires in the flexible section between the door and the door pillar. If you unplug the harness inside the car and pull it into the gap between the door and pillar, you can peel the boot back and inspect the wires.

If you do find broken wires, I would splice in a new wire of at least the same size from inside the door to inside the car without putting any connections in the flexible section...

Good luck, and let us know what you find.
