im pretty sure my 14b turbo is toast right now and i dont have alot of money until pay day, my question is that if i pull the waste gate arm off the post so it does not build boost will it still be ok to drive at 3-4rpm as a normal car?

Yes, all of your boost will just blow through. HOWEVER, you still run the risk of running those metal shavings off your "fvcked" turbo through your system.

im going to pull the intake tube tomorrow and check for metal shavings, it didnt blow or anything it just sputters while building boost at like 5lbs and to 10lbs and im running stock boost. i think its just that time for a turbo LOL

i was about to change the plug in 1 week when i got paid, ill try that first, then boost leak and then turbo haha

Rule number 1, always check for boost leaks. It would take off about 2/3rds of these useless threads.

turbo is strong, the problem was the spark plug wires were really old, so i got new plugs/ wires yesterday and runs like a champ again.

sorry to bring this back but would this be a bad idea with a turbo ecu? does it matter or would it try to compensate throughout the RPMs?

The car is equipped with a airflow sensor, so no spool = no Airflow.
It will run without the arm and it will also build some boost at very high rpms (acctually feels like NA but might get upto 5Psi).

ok so it would be completely fine to drive with it off, just slow. Thanks for the reply
