I have been having a few problems, everytime i have a problem i post and you guys always seem to know the answer. I am hoping this will be the case with this problem too. I get the car to full operating temps, I get a perfect idle. I take it for a drive and while i am driving the idle will start to drop and idle so low and sometimes dies. My bov is recirculated so that is out of the question. I will get it back home and adjust the idle to be a little higher and then before i can go take it back onto the road, the car will start to idle high at like 1500 rpm. So i drop it back down. When i go to drive it again the car will die in neutral and in between shifts. I tested my iac and the resistance is fine. My problem is i do not see it moving on startup when i take it off. Could it be my iac?

I do have a boost leak tester. I tested today. Found out my oring on my iac is leaking a little. I will be fixing it tommorrow with a new oring. I also think my damn turbo xs rfl bov is leaking. Piece of crap:ohdamn:. Hopefully i will search around and be able to find a new bov to use. These leaks are not even close to major. Would there be anything else causing this. I am getting the infamous misfire code too P0300. My friend says he thinks this could be a problem, but i am pretty confident that all 6 bolt swaps will get this code. The car does not feel like there is any misfires.

Misfire code is common with swaps;using an accurate 2 sensor system and then combining them into a single sensor.

Any leak is a bad leak especially ones affecting the throttle body forward.

I will get them repaired tommorrow anyway. Does the code cause the car to run worse, or does it not affect it at all? Otherwise i dont care if the code is on because my car is a 1997 and they can have a CEL and still pass inspection in Massachusetts.:thumb:
