I love magnetic drain plugs! Great indication that things are happy inside your engine when it comes out clean. I use one on both my 16V and my TDI and I'm putting one in on the DSM at it's next oil change. Fitment is M14x1.5

Magnetic drain plug..I'm buying a couple of these.

Just rip apart an old computer and yank the magnets out of the hard drive. Then stick them on your filter or pan. Those magnets are stupid strong, like I had to use a screw driver to get two of them apart that got stuck together.

Whats a desktop..This is 2012, we have laptops now.

I have one of these drain plugs, it was an eye opener the first time I changed my oil with one of those. I wish I took a picture to post.

Bought my Mishimoto one from STM.

Desktops are computers that can do what laptops cant, i still have a desktop, its a beast and can outperform my T410 Thinkpad.
