Ok I read the suspension sticky and all the connecting threads about drag suspensions and starting from scratch and how your wallet will factor what you do and I still have not gotten enough information to make a descission on what to buy. I like to get what I need performance wise iwthout paying out the ass like everyone else but I don't want to skimp and waste money. With turbos and power and what not poeple give straight answers and it's pretty easy to educate yourself with how a tubro system and a engine work but the suspension talk is like chinnese to me. I have never been into autoX or anything like that so never really cared about camber toe angle and what not. I am all about drag and My setup reflects that. I am at the point where I need to get my suspension setup where it will hook while launching period. I and not worried about anything else realy as long as it doesn't stop my car from being dd friendly too much because we all know a certain level of comfort must be given for true performance.

ANyway I'm lookin at makin 500whp and using a 2 step out the whole so needless to say I plan on pulling 1.6 60fts or around abouts with descent consistancy. If I'm going go threw the trouble of upgrading to a 4 bolt rear and putting money into a suspension might as well go for the gold. I could leave everything stock and spin till tomorrow and there would be no need for anything extra cause spinning doens't put as much stress on drivetrain as hookin. Anyway I need a setup that will help me hook. Break it down as basic as you can cause I'm a suspension noob.

Ground control coil overs and Koni yellows is what a lot of 1g guys with DD run
Or you can go all out and get the JIC suspension from RRE. Reall depends on how much you are willing to spend.
DSS had a good suspension thing going with the race hypercoil springs but they no longer do suspension for the 1g.
Coil overs are the way to go dont bother with the prokits.
Anyone want to chime in on were to get hypercoils from for a 1G these days??

So I just go pick up a good coilover kit and that shoudl be good enough for me I don't really care about all that 100000 adjustable setting kits I just need to eb able to set how stiff or soft the front and back are as that seems to be the reason the stock stuff sucks.
