Downpipe Questions (O2 housing connection & connecting the grounding strap to DP)

Hey guys, I just received my Dejon downpipe today (which I am in the middle of doing a write-up on) and got the old downpipe off fine. But, I now noticed that there is no way for me to connect the grounding strap to the downpipe anymore because I got rid of the cat. So, I was wondering if I could just JB weld a cut off bolt to the downpipe and then the grounding strap and then a nut on top of it? So it goes like:

Nut

Grounding Strap
| |
JB welded- cut off bolt on downpipe

Also, I noticed that on the O2 housing there are studs rather then bolts and nuts. Would it be alright if I just kept the studs in place and used the two nuts (that are in good condition that were used before) to secure the new downpipe into place like the stock one had it?

I would just use the old nuts. As for the strap, your plan sounds like it would work, but I'm not sure if the JB weld would affect the grounding. If it was welded, then it wouldn't be a problem for sure. Another thing you could do is just use one of those round electrical connectors with the hole in the middle and just put it over the 02 stud and run a wire to the frame somewhere. Whichever is easier.

Yeah... I already have the ring terminal connected to the grounding strap (had to cut the old one off because that damn thing was rusted on there). I am also not sure if the JB weld would effect the grounding, that is why I wanted to check with you guys before I do anything. I guess just connecting it to the frame wouldn't hurt anything would it?
