O2 Elim DP or Ported O2 housing then DP?

We make an 02 elim downpipe for either the Garrett or Mitsubishi downpipe. The standard downpipe will bolt up to either of them as long as you have the proper 02 housing.

i have a question for you, is your o2 elim. downpipe in two pieces like the one above for easy installation? it seems like if it were in one piece it would be next to impossible to get it on. i heard horror stories about the old hahn o2 eliminators. *shiver*

The 02 elim downpipes are one piece. They are super simple install. It takes all of about 5 seconds to slide it in position on the turbo stud. Then you just need to install the bolts. It makes it easier if you have two people to get it in there. One underneath the car on one person guiding it onto the turbo.

We do offer a two piece design for a little more money, but don't see why you would ever want it. We have never heard anyone complain about installing our one piece 02 elim downpipes.

any testimonials? not trying to bug you but when i look at my o2 housing that back bolt looks menacing to get out let alone get back on.

I have a RNR 3" O2 eliminator DP on my 2G. I had a pretty hard time getting the stock O2 sensor housing off. Make sure you have a nice socket set with all the different adapters/extenders. I ended up taking out the dipstick holder and one of the coolant lines to get better access to it. You really need a little room to move in there because those bolts are on tight.

As far as getting the eliminator downpipe on, it was pretty easy. Getting it lined up wasn't hard and I did it by myself. The hardest part was getting the gasket to stay in place while I slid it on. I don't think the bolts are any harder to get to than they are with the stock O2 housing. Putting it back together was a dream compared to getting it off.

You can have an external dump on the 02 housing with an internal wastegate.

internal dumps still considered "for off road use" or is that any o2 eleminating DP in general. sorry if its a stupid question. but i wanna do a hi flow exhaust system, and keep it legal as possible.

What about booost creep, would an o2 eliminator increase the chances of and presence of boost creep?

An 02 elim will greatly reduce the chance of getting boost creep. An internal dump will pass smog and a external dump won't be smog legal.
