Door Question

The piece that keeps the door from closing itself broke on the drivers side.Its the little bar thats missing in the picture.Is the one on the passenger side the same?My friend was saying the ones on his 240 are interchangeable.Logic is if I go to pull one from a yard the passenger side would be less worn out if it works.

That is called the door stopper and no the one on the passenger side is not the same.

Got a passenger side one from the salvage yard and put it on the drivers side.Works fine.All you gotta do is flip it around.It even has a L or R depending on which side its flipped.

I tried that but it did not work for my 95 hmm.
