Doing a Clutch install. Any last minute suggestions. Thanks in advance

Gonna pull my AWD tranny and put in a ACT 2600 with XACT flywheel, 11.6lb.. Any suggestions would be cool.

These are a must ( I have done almost exactly the same install on my 90 AWD ):

SS clutch hose
1/4 inch longer slave rod

Make sure you master and slave cylinders are in top notch shape. The 2600 will eat them if they are not. If you're a 1G, check you pedal linkage, 2600's like to wear them out too.

And get rid of the restrictor in the slave cylinder.

Restrictor long gone.
20,000 on MC
4,000 on SC
Does the longer rod also apply to 2G?
I'm reading the VFAQ for the 4th time before I get started.
