recently when i go in reverse and am at the certain point in my clutch that engages im hearing almost like a scraping noice coming from near the front left of the car. It almost sounds like somehing metal scraping on the ground but theres nothing to be seen when i get under the car and look. I even got my friend to look under the car when i am backing up, but theres nothing, just the horrible noice. I dont understand what it would be, i had my tranny rebuilt last year.

Is it a stock clutch when you had your tranny rebuilt that you put back on. Or did you change to aftermarket?

Is that it? or is there any excess vibration?

One thing thats quick and easy, I've seen mess with people is your brakes. Somtimes while going forward, the little metal peice wont scrape, but it will in reverse. Espically cause usally your riding your brakes. When was the last time you changed your pads man? And if recent, could your rotor be heat warped and they are rubbing anyways?

no there is no excess vibration. and its deffinetly not my brakes because it only happens at a certain part of releasing my clutch. i dont know if the stock clutch was put back in beacue i bought t off someone who had it rebuilt but i have the recipt for it.

Well, sounds like you might be having some near future fun. I'm sure it could be other things, but most likely your TOB (Throw Out Bearing). How long ago did the guy have the clutch work done?

Mines used to do this after I installed the 2600 but it was because of the pedal over throwing the clutch lever when the pedal was smack on the floor because i had the throw engagement to the extreme figuring the act2600 would give under throw, and it would be more noticeable slipping it in reverse.

Mine does this, here's what I do. Throw her into 1st, then into reverse, with clutch still engaged through the motion, shifts like butter. I know it's a hassle sometimes but it works.
