To the OP, have you not thought about getting your trans serviced by the king of all trannies ? Yeah that's right, SHEP...

I would love to have a SHEP dogbox,,,, but not everyone's pockets go that deep. (I can't afford the Shep,,,,but I can afford the dogboxracing trans)

Well I now have over 2000 miles on my trans, it's still just as good as when i first put it in. So I think it's safe to say they can make a good trans.

The first time I looked at the products page I didn't notice the "Please use arrows to scroll..." portion at the bottom.

I would suggest putting a transparent vertical box that connects the two arrows used for scrolling. That way it looks obviously like a scroll bar and is more intuitive.

Page is looking good. Im a noob to trans internals but can you help me out with something. I am getting really really bad lockout from 1-2 and 2-3. Ive heard that getting my tranny "shimmed" would fix this but again im a noob to trans internals. Also what would i beneift from having the center diff welded shut on my awd dsm? Thanks

Shep is WAAAY overrated. Yes he has a nasty car and does good stuff. But when i can get a PPG set for like $4500 and put it together myself and its the same thing i can buy from him, i cant see spending 7 or 8k just so SHEP can put it together. All your paying for is the name. If anybody other then THE GOD OF EVERYTHING charged what he did for a trans you would say their an idiot. Theres TONS of other guys out there that are just as good if not better, but just because hes the fastest out there everybody takes his word as gospel. He can put a trans together good for him.

Hope these guys are still in business...going to try the number on Monday. I've been looking for their contact info for MONTHS....Loved the FWD tranny they made for 12 years ago!!!! still string as hell and can take a beating....I'm swapping to a gsx now and NEED these guys to bless this gearbox. I'll even give them back the one they built for me as a core...they can prob resell it right back it was so good.

Alex is still around, dont know if he is doing customer rebuilds anymore. The parts availability is severely diminished or discontinued, so dont get your hopes up.

If I was you I would not run there tranny, I have there racing model double syncro 2nd welded center diff, anyway my 1st gear syncro isn't right, it pops out of reverse on occasion and I can't get in touch with them WTF .....but I do give it a whoping and it's still ticking!!!!!
