OK i have a feeling something is going to happen to my car but i don't know what, it all started today when i realized i have been running a little rich and my car has been a little slower than normal, when i non hemi ram 1500 gave a whooping! WTF . My fifth gear kept popping out, but i realized the lower radiator hose is touching the gear shifters on the tranny, and my front right tire is making a lot of squeaking noises, also my car is vibrating allot in idle, and my car overheats!!, i have had a radiator problem for as long as i can remember, i finally got a good working radiator, and then my cap kept leaking, so i finally changed it but now my car starts to overheat, in idle nothing happens and its all good but when i start driving after giving it gas the needle slowly moves about the middle area but never reaches redzone, i know one of my passanger fan works but the one right in front of the turbo, i think it has problems, but jumping it to the battery it turns on, i connected it to my fog lights but then i blew out my fuse, so i don't know if it works or not. But if its the fan wouldn't the car overheat in idle to? man my car is all out of wack, I am a little scared cause i am about to buy a 16g and i don't want a 16g and a bad motor, i just hate my t-25, and i am really pissed on why my car doesn't run right recirculating! i purchased my car from some guy who had the car ricurc and blowing off, because he said it ran really bad ricurc and he never found out why! but i tried running it shut but it runs pig rich and really slow!! and when i gap the bov return tube on the bov, the car leans out a bit and runs so much harder!!! WTF ... Nobody could help me on that cause its unexplained! could it be my o2housing?

OH also when i am in idle my dash lights dim and when i accelerate the lights brighten up again????
 
First of all I got a $100 bucks saying your 'lower' radiator fan isn't touching your gear shifters on your tranny. Second of all the sqeeking and vibration...hmmm balancing or alignment off? checked it much? As far as the other problems your having, sounds like you need to go over everything and stop rigging shit up.

:mad: Man you cant give advice, but hey thanks for trying. Oh sorry i mean to say lower radiator hose. Second so much for the word "idle" do you really think i need balancing on a car not moving?
 
Look i dont already checked some stuff on my car but when i start to put stuff like they normally are its just runs worse!, why would i run better with unmetered air coming in than in when the tube is strapped up?
 
i would say your right about that it shouldn't be the fans, because if it was your fan the car should overheat on idle. check all other possiblities thermostat & water pump. i remember driving my altima i would overheat when driving it but not on idle. car overheated bad one day, and i found out the water pump wasn't working. i would say check your pump and thermostat. make sure both are properly functioning.

is the vibration and squeaking occur when your moving the tires or when their still? because i would stop my car and move the tires left and right i would get a loud squeaking sound. come to find out the ball joints were failing for the 2nd time. so if you haven't done the recall go get it done. don't really know about the vibration on a stop. never happen to me.

your dash lights dimming on idle could be an alternator/battery problem check the battery first. much easier, and while testing the battery you can test whether your alternator is going at the same time. but yeah check your battery first.
 
Tire problem-ball joints
Fan problem -bad relay
Overheating -thermostat or radiator flush needed (Are you losing coolant?)
Recirculation-while they car is idling tap on the MAF, if your idle starts fluctuating, bad MAF.
Or, you have a bad 02 sensor.

yes, your thermostat could be blocked and not opening up to let coolant in. and you dont want to push an overheated car your warp the block/head and burn many things. Your lights dim becuase your car is flooding and is ready to die, thats why you have to feather the gas pedal at idle, or youll choke out.
sounds like an intake hose is loose, or not connected at all. something isnt getting air. good luck man. :thumb:

My squeking noise= my crossmember is cracked :mad: not to badthough and my shock are gone!!

not for my over heating, if i open my radiator cap and see flow does that mean it is working?

right in between the fan and the radiator, i see this plug with about 3 or 4 wires coming out, the fan was loose and it would keep hitting those wires untill it chewed them all out and now most of the wires peeled open and now are touching!! i hope its that

And i still cant figure out my dam air fuel mixture! why dont i run right the way my car is soppose to be?

please explain the the tap? as in disconnect the maf? and i just flushed it and i am using water :coy: i just got a new radiator put in, i will get the coolant soon, will water cool worse?

He's saying tap on it with your finger, though it could still be bad without noticing a different during tapping on it. There is a check engine light code for the MAF to, so it might not be that.

For the air/fuel problem;
Definetly do a boost leak check right away if you haven't already! and then go from there
 
Alright so when in gods name did you do to your car. It sounds like you should just junk it, i have a 1990 thats in better shape that yours. I would stop trying to do everything yourself and go to a mechanic before your car just doesnt run anymore, but then agian its up to you

Exactly. Just tap on it with your finger. But like 2gPressure said, there's a CEL for the MAF as well.
A boost leak test is the first place to start. http://www.vfaq.com/mods/ICtester.html
Then we can go from there.

Water cools, coolant keeps it liquid in the winter. coolant, a.k.a. antifreeze.
 
Ok heating was thermastat. fixed.
The crossmember was missing a bolt which broke :| , mustve been those meen fwd launches.
and the maf is good, i do have a cel light ill get it checked out.

and the air fuel problem is still a mystery, but not for long, some guy here in miami dsm club, will help me out on that problem.

And yes there is really somthing wrong, i ran into some guy who had the same setup as mine, just 96gst, but hard intercooler pipes and man did he pull on me! he got me by 2-3 cars. and then i drove his and his car pulls like crazy! i need to get this fixed. I bought this car from a guy who really didnt take care of it, i had it for about a 3 months and i have tried to mantain it like if it was my baby, oil change every 1500, and since its a shep tranny i make shure the oil is good, all fluids, i have changed all belts, but the drivetrain put a hole in my pocket! So just now is when i can start spending on other things. Hopefully all turns out to be well.

Like we've said. Do a boost leak test. And get the CEL checked. It won't be a mystery after that.
