I'm buying a gst and I really don't know what happened with the engine. Does this look like a fire happened?

It looks more like a hack job that caused that. Look at it...LOOK AT IT! Lol 6bolt swap..with a 1g intake tube and 1g maf. Hacked upper intercooler pipe. Hacked fuse box. Look at all the loose wiring. 1g harness also?[DOUBLEPOST=1417054945][/DOUBLEPOST]Id stay FARRRR away as possible from this car. I wouldn't even consider buying it. Unless they were pretty much giving it away...You must be logged in to view this image or video.

Dang how long was that thing sittin?
Engine turns, compression tests suck 120 80 120 80[DOUBLEPOST=1417069390][/DOUBLEPOST]Id get a whole new matching fuse box and engine harness and go from there.
Is the engine shot? does it even crank?
I hope its at scrap price
what are you looking to do with it? I think its far from a DD, but strip it down for a project sure!

That being said, it looks like rodent damage to me. The corrosion is probably from them peeing everywhere.
its bad man would need everything how did he install that engine harness to the body harness or did he just hack it up to make all them early 1g parts work
