Hi, anyone know if a stock turbo exhaust manifold will fit a td05 16g turbo upgrade? Can I reuse my stock turbo exhaust manifold or I have to buy a new after market exhaust manifold that make for td05 16g turbo? Does the stock turbo exhaust manifold fit or not? Thanks in advace.
 
It will be obvious. There is a ring between the exhaust housing and turbine housing. It's essentially a piece of tube a few inches in diameter and maybe 1/2" tall. The turbine size hole of a 16gvdiesnt match a dsm manifold. It does match an evo3 manifold. You throw it away and typically port the manifold at a minimum.

How do you remove that extra piece of circle ring? Cut it with a saw or electric saw or grind it? Or does it has like an o ring and just used vise grip to take it out? Or how do you remove that? If I'm using stock manifold then I will need to remove that extra o ring or if I buy after market exhaust manifold then it will comes with clean with no extra o ring and just attach straight up with no cut or modify to fit properly correct? I think I understand what you are saying, I see it in the pictures you attach, thank you for explaining and for the help.
