2G turbo upgrade help from my stock t25

I was wanting to upgrade my t25 turbo but i have no idea where to go to get a bigger turbo i want to produce about 400hp from my stock engine is that possible? Should i go with a t28 or a 16g turbo evo III? I would like to change my injectors to 550cc with a walbro 255fp and an aftermarket fuel rail and regulator. But i have no idea what the best sites are to get parts for my 96' gst

A DIRECT bolt on is the fp big t28. For a t25 almost anything is an upgrade and goes something like this>.. 13g,14b,small 16g,big 16g,big t28,evo 3,evo x comp wheel,18g,20g in tdo5 or tdo6,billet comp wheel, and then the 68hta.



I'm sure I'm forgetting a few but thats the basic idea. BTW Gofer on the 68hta is a freak of naturethumb: Corey)..

Dammit..I put the t28 after the big and small 16g.So thanks for catching that.

if you are trying to make at least 400 hp, you are better off going with a forced performance green turbo. the t28 & 16g would not be able to reach that potential.

Where did you get this info from? Considering i've seen 20g kits put down 400+ with the right supporting mods and proper tuning.

Ok so i have wrote up a list of all stage 1 mods. Thank you for your help guys. I'm sorry about that last post i was a little grumpy and i apologize for that.

Atleast you realized it. But as you can see were not gonna spoon feed you when there is millions of threads like this and even several upgrade paths and even guides on installing certain things in these said paths.

I have set my stage 1 goals than after my stage 1 goals i will work up a list for stage 2 goals. I will just keep going at it in stages until i get the car how i want. I have learned not to be stubborn and that these cars have a lot to them to get more ponies other than just slapping in a bigger turbo. Thanks again guys!!
