I was showing off one evening with my girlfriend in the pasenger seat. Doing a burnout across a residential intersection when the two front tires started to hop. I did not let off the gas, then i heard a loud THUNK! and now it does not go into gear. Also I can push the stick shift through all gears without the clutch pedal pushed. Still runs great though! If anyone can help it would be much appreciated. I have a 1990 Laser G1, 5 spd, non turbo, front wheel drive. :dsm:

You broke something. Start by removing your tires, and pulling the axles. If nothing's broken there, pull the tranny. Inspect the clutch. If it looks good, send your tranny to get fixed. Also, stop being a dumbass doing burnouts.

Thanx for the advice. I am hoping i did not bust of the end-shaft of my tranny  , that's what the shops around town think it is. I just have not been able to do any work on it due to lack of a sheltered garage or carport. It is snowy and icy out. I am hoping for some decent weather or a friends garage to work in. However I don't appreciate the "dumbass" comment. burnouts are fun and that is one of the things that I am building my car to do. You have fun you're way and I'll have fun mine ;) . Obviously if I want to keep burning out I need to make my tranny limited slip though :thumb: . If anyone else has ran into this problem I could definately use any wisdom anyone could offer. :dsm:
