This is the first time I have taken this x-fer case out of the car, and I have known about my bad fluid leak it had, so now while my car is down I'm going to repair it. While I was rolling it around on the ground I noticed oil was coming from this hole and I am a bit  as to if anything goes in it or not?

The big black hole in the middle of the x-fer case in this picture is what I am referring to.

Thats the breather hole. There is a little rubber plug that should go there. Ask the dealer for a part # and order one, or pick up a universal one from Autozone/Advance Auto. I don't see it as being too expensive.

Any idea if you can tell me what they call it, cause I cant seem to find it at our local autozone.

Also is it something behind the counter, or out front in the shelves?

dealer item only. Im sure you can find something that will fit and plug it up. If you ask some kid behind the parts counter about the part specifically, he'll just look at you like you're retarded or something.
