Has anyone had any experience (positive or negative) with Klotz Fluids? A local shop has recommended Klotz 75w-90 for the trans, and Klotz 75w-140 for the X-Fer Case and Rear End. These were offered as an alternative to the Redline MT90 and Redline Heavy Duty Shockproof that I had inquired about.

Thoughts?

Klotz 75w-140 is what we use in all the Harley Davidson's at the shop. It works very well on them. I would go with BG Syncro Shift II on the trans and Mitsubishi Diaqueen LSD for the rear diff and transfercase. 1 can of Diaqueen is more than enough to fill the transfercase and rear diff while leaving arround 1 quart to spare. Plus the Diaqueen is arround the same price if not cheaper than the Klotz is.

Personally, I would stick with what is recommended by the tranny guys that know what they are doing, and has been proven over and over again. ;)

I've tried about everything in my current DSM (not the Klotz though), and it would take an act of God to for me to run anything other than MT90 and HSP at this point.
