just curious if any people regret buying the year of dsm they bought?? if so what year? and why do u regret it?

Hello no...my car is the shiii, never gave me an ounce of problems yet...and if I hadn't bought it, I would of never met my man and my life would suck right now...best purchase I've ever made

They only thing I do regret is that I didn't get an AWD...when I bought mine, didn't know enough about DSM's to know they came in AWD...grrr, guess I'll do my research next time...

I regret buying on impulse. I should have saved up my money. I bought a '95 RS in really bad shape, but when i'm done with it, it will be very nice.

Yea I regret trading my mint 79 Cutlass for my current ride, my 92 talon. I gave up a mint condition 1979 Cutlass Supreme Brougham. Leather interior,power everything, factory power moonroof, not one spot of rust anywhere. Guess the only thing i dont miss is the gas mileage. Atleast it would go everytime i hit the gas though. Oh well atleast i can get abck adn forth to school on 5 bucks a week on gas instead of 15.

My only regret is not getting a 4g63. I haven't had any problem out of mine other than the usual head gasket.

yeah i sorta do regret buying my cause i didn't know didly squat about dsm's and i got a 90 gs-t for 500 bucks, but it needed work, i just wish i had bought a gsx or tsi, 343 hp to the front wheels is stupid, i go nowhere quick, no traction at all, so thats why im savin up for a tsi or gsx and just swap out the parts i spent on my car,(head, 700hp fuel pump, big 16g clipped with 7cmhousing, rims, m b c,etc...etc.....) which is a pain but hey, you gotta love em!

my only regret was getting a GS-T over a GS-X. the x was just out of my price range though, and i couldnt find one in as good of a condition as mine is in (as well as fully loaded, leather, everything). i do not in any way regret getting an automatic though. ive driven stick before, and it sure is fun as hell, but for an every-day-drive it just becomes a chore, really. after a while it just is too much work to get from here to there, especially when i fumble with drinks, or cds, or whatever. i can give my attention to other things rather than JUST driving it.

I don't regret my purchase, I regret not kicking the previous owners ass for not talking car of my car, as previously posted..I've spent over 1,000 in repairs since I got it 3 months ago.

Not only did I buy a lemon, I paid 500 more than what the car was actually worth. However, I still won't sell the car I am bound and determined to fix this car up to par, the only thing left to purchase and get installed is the hi flow catalytic converter.

Regret my car? Never. Regret buying a 1G? Never. Regret anything about my car? Never. Even when I spent $1000 on clutch and new front axle's, or when I spent $1100 on new rear diff and drive line. Sure, some people think that the 2G's look better, and to some people, they do... but honestly, I bought this car for performance, and frankly, I can do alot more with less money to a 1G then I can with a 2G.


2G's are damn sexy though...

I regret buying a parts car that runs better than the Gs-t that I was going to fix. The parts car, GSX, has a stronger motor, but the body is rough, needs a whole lotta TLC, axles, rotors, balljoints and the like. But it sure takes care of me in the snow. So now I regret that I have to let one of them go... the blue GST or the red GSX...

The only reason I regret buying my car is that its a FWD. I'm thinking of selling it and getting an 92 AWD.

I regret buying my DSM, yes and no. I've had the car for 2 weeks, and nothing but constant problems....ECU smelling, starter broken, lights inside, rattling under the car, muffler problems......but......the performance of the car makes up for all of this. I can go around curves at incredible speed....sign says 30kph.......i go 70 hehehe

I regret not getting a 5-speed, Car has given me no trouble at all i love it. Wanted one since i got my license. It was hard to pass up a mint 95 GST with 2yr warrenty and 65,000mi for under $10,000

nope, it was my friends 2000 acura integra type-r. no civic

Yes, I love my dsm but I regret gettin' it because the dealer neglected to tell me things like cracked cylinder, blown head gasket, lowest motor avail., power steering leaks and a few smaller problems. The funny thing is it ran great during the test drive it ran perfect.

I should've gotten an AWD 2.0L 4g63 instead of a FWD 1.8L 4g37 lowest model possible.

regret owning a dsm?? who in thier right mind could? granted that all of us have gone through our fair share of bullish with our cars(usually spending equal amounts of money on fixes as performance, which sucks) but all it takes is that one night where it's about 50degrees outside, everything is tuned properly, and some assh-le in a v8 challenges you, and you hand him his a-s, to make everything worth it

I have had two 2g's and loved them both. Well I switched to the 1 g awd and I love it because it is so much faster but I hate it because it is so much uglier. And I can't seem to stop spending money on upgrades. hahaha
