Do 2gs have headlight warning chimes?

Of course i have foggy lights. And i always seem to leave my damn lights on. I do not have an alarm, and i was just wondering if the fuse was bad or there just isn't an alarm at all.

Yeah, they have them. If you have a turbo timer though, the alarm wouldn't sound until it's done timing down. This is also the reason I forget to turn off my headlights all the time.

So how do i work it.. Ive ran my car dead 5 times and wow will that alternator scream for hours after.. Thinking of just buying like bright blue dash lights something to make it more noticeable

When you take the key out and open the door with the lights on, a tone will sound. So, are you using a turbo timer, or not? I like the idea of the blue light on the dash, but do you think that you will notice that if you don't notice your headlights on? I was thinking just a couple days ago, I'd like to wire the lights to go off with the engine no matter what (with a switch to bypass it, if I need to).

If your alarm isn't coming on when you leave your lights on and open the door, then your door jamb switch is bad.

It's the same reminder buzzer as the seatbelt. Someone may have..... corrected it already.

It's not the door switch that operates it, but the one in the ignition switch that warns you the key is left in the ignition. Again, this may already have been.... corrected.

I don't have an alarm when i leave my keys in the car either, ive done that before too..

I dont have any of that. My door jam switchs are both bad, the passenger side works sometimes, but my key in the ignition alarm or headlight alarm never sound, and I have killed the battery a few times. The worst was when I went to Cedar Point, thats almost 4 hours from my house, I got lucky though and a guy I was parked next to had jumpers, haha.

I'm really sorry to revive a old thread, but I searched and couldn't find a good answer to this issue. I found the door jamb switches but what fuse or wire has been disconnected to "correct" all the buzzes and/or tones.?

The noise thats suppose to come on when i leave the lights on or when i leave my key in the ignition doesnt go off but i might have a diff. Problem ### im noticing that you guys have turbos and whatnot. As for me i have a GS

My problem is that screw is damn stuck in there. Tried every means to break it loose but drilling it out. Any ideas to getting it out? Hoping someone else had the same problem.
