How would the TCU run if I disconnected the Power/Economy switch to run something else in its place.. like say a dual stage boost controler?

Would it revert to Economy or Power settings if you cut the wires?

I know its silly, but I think the Power/Economy switch would be a perfect place to run the boost controler, surly someone else has done this and can lend some insight?

Ideally I would like to keep it in Power mode at all times with a push button low/high boost switch (14/20psi) versus a toggle switch that looks out of place mounted in the cabin.

When I did it i just took the switch out of the console and left it hidden under the console on power mode. Then I bought another power/eco switch from the junkyard and wired it for high/low boost.

Now that sounds nice and simple. Thanks for the tip! Im off to the junkyard.
