Dirty master cylinder fluid

How to I change the master cylinder brake fluid to clean fluid without having to bleed the system? If I remove the cylinder do I still need to bleed the brakes? I think my fluid is contaminated and would like to put in new fluid in the cylinder for now untill I feel like bleeding the whole system..

If it looks like its tinted black then most likely you have leaky seals, and that would mean that its time to replace the master.

Well if the fluid in the master is contaminated do you really think the fluid in the lines isn't? Suck out the contaminated fluid out of master, flush the system with denatured mineral spirits using the conventanal bleeding method. Then fill with clean brake fluid and bleed the brakes until you get all brake fluid out. This is the only way to flush the system, you have to bleed them. Hope this helps.
