OK so I know I have a bad oil seal on the turbo. I have already replaced the pcv valve (that was fun going to ten different parts stores to find a good one)because the dipstick kept coming out. My dipstick is still coming out and there is what smell exhaust coming out. So basically could a bad oil seal on the hot side of the turbo cause the exhaust in the crank case? or do I need to find a new engine?

thank in advance.

ok so I know its not my rings (at idle I'm pulling 20 psi vacuum) and it not the pcv valve as it is brand new... I am also not getting compression gasses (as they would smell like unburnt fuel). Can anyone explain why I'm getting exhaust gasses out of the crank case? :banghead:

You got worn rings with plenty of blowby. You'll always have vacuum no matter how worn rings are since the film of oil on the cylinder walls is helping with vacuum creation, but remember, high vacuum is during de-accleration or on idle..

It's a bottom end OVERHAUL time!

...(course, you've never said how the head is for you could have blown valve seals as well ....)

I dont know how the head is... how do I check? I really hope its the valve seals, 'cause I dont have 3k for a new motor.
