It sounds like the noise is still coming from the bov, even after is blows off.

Thats the sound REAL AUTHENTIC Greddy Type S BOVs make. Surprising people don't already know that by now. But that is the BOV making that sound.

The knockoffs will not make that signature Greddy "laser" sound.

damn that car is mean! ...(drools)..Cant wait on my turbo kit to be finished already got my Greddy Type S!

I believe that sound is not the greddy signature sound. I believe it is native to that car/setup. Also, when the car blowing off in real world situations it will be releasing MUCH more air and will most likely not sound quite like that.

Granted, I have the knock-off type-s, but mine sounds like every other LEGIT bov I've heard.

That is definitely the authentic greddy type s laser sound. That is what it's known for. Go on youtube.com You will see. It's clearly shown in that vid above. Down to how long the wistle is based on how tight the BOV is set. I have experience with the authentic, and knockoff, in idle and load situations. From almost stock to 50 trim 350-400hp setups. That SHOULD be the sound of authentic real greddy type s unless they did something special.

The knockoff Greddy Type S do not make that wistle, and the Type RS, real and knockoff do not make that sound. It's sound is more of air gush I believe.

Yeah redturboeclipse is correct. That IS the sound of the famous Greddy Type S.
