are the N/A 2.0l 4g63 1st gen talons or eclipses slave cylinder the same size as the 2.0 liter turbo 4g63t ist gen's? i couldnt find anything on this.

It's what I've gathered from parts stores when buying a slave cylinder.
Rockauto agrees with me at the moment. LOL

I have a fwd slave on my awd beater car. I bought some new line and bent it to my liking. It has been fine for over 10k. The only difference between the two is the orientation of bleeder and where the line connects and the 1/16" bore.

First pic: FWD
Second pic: AWD

awsome love the pics! so what would happen if you put the AWD slaveo nthe FWD or vice versa? would that mess up the engagement?

thanks for the pics they helped LOL!

I haven't seen any ill effects from it. Why do you ask? The only reason I interchanged them was because the local parts store didn't have an AWD slave in stock. We're talking about a fairly cheap part here. Buy the correct slave, save yourself the hassle.

well i ask because my clutch is not engageing properly but i did the correct pedal adjustment and bled the system with a vaccum bleeder. the slave i had on it when i bought the car was the same one i just put on my car with the same clutch setup that i had when i bought the car. it appears like the bore is bigger and the unit itself is just bigger so i feel confident it will work. i had to take this slave off awhile back when i put a diffent clutch setup in ti and the slave i put on it then seems a lot smaller and the bore looks smaller so i think it just wasnt able to push the piston as far as the one i got now. also on the old one when i pulled the boot back and felt the inside of the slave bore it was damp so im thinking it was leaking past the piston.
