Need to know what the differences between those two models are. I own a GS, and to convert it to a GST, i need to know what is different relating to suspension and brakes. Are GST brakes bigger than GS?

Sell your gs and get a gst, the price isn't too much of a difference. Your welcome.

I don´t live in the states, so having one shipped to europe would cost too much, so a conversion is much cheaper. I have been looking for gst and gsx for years with no luck.

It only covers the conversion and what is needed for the engine/drivetrain to work. I need to know what i need to upgrade regarding suspension and brake systems, in order to have it approved at its annual inspections. Law about conversions over here is very strict, and as such i need to know exactly what is different. The conversion itself is the easiest part, its all the documentation that takes time, as the vehicle identity changes.

the quick and dirty is engine + all intercooler piping & exhaust to cat, ecu harness, ecu, gauge cluster. i don't think suspension, brakes, or anything else, is different between the two.

I´ve been trying looking at parts dealers and it seems the part numbers are the same for brake discs for 2.0L N/T and gst, but needed to make sure. I wouldn´t be surprised if the suspension is the same, but i´d imagine that the gst would feature twinpot calipers, as i think the stock brakes on the gs is quite terrible.

i think it just depends what year. even my 92 awd has single piston calipers, same as fwd and n/t. and if i recall, my 92 laser fwd-t had single as well.

My car is a FWD, 2.0L 16V 4G63 with 104kw. Im not sure if the AWD models were sold in Europe at all, as far as i know, all AWD are imports from the US. Even gst is very rare, and pretty sure they are also imports from US. But they were all build in the US, my car is anyway.
