Difference in manual transmissions

What is the differance in the manual trans from the 1.8 to the 2.0 motor,is their any?I have a trans from a 2.0 and an 1.8 they both have the same numbers stamped on them ,look identical but i was told they were differant. where?

Ok so the gearing is differant between the nt and turbo,But whats the differance from 1.8 and 2.0 nt trans?I was told you cant use a trans from a 1.8 on a 2.0,they look no differant and have the same part numbers .The reason i ask is i did a manual to auto swap about a year or so ago and the auto didnt hold up so i found a manual trans in a 1.8 eclipse for free and im going to put it in this weekend

The 1.8l trans will bolt up and work. Has lower gearing and less oil capacity.
