Difference in mani and o2 housing

I have a galant vr-4 and it of course has the 1g o2 housing and 1g mani. Well I was at the junk yard and there was a 2g there and the guy said 50 bucks for the 2g mani and o2 housing, Would that be worth it to me, will there be a big difference

Yes. Both of them flow better. Port both of them, along with your turbo's wastegate outlet area and you should be fine.

I get uneasy when folks recommend that site for porting the mani. I have no dyno numbers comparing no divider vs. divider, but there's a good sense reason for leaving that divider in there. www.turbobygarrett.com has a 101 page describing why you want it in there, so that's a bit of a reason.

And $50 is a good deal for a 2g mani and o2 housing.

I didn't realize that part was in that FAQ. I agree that having the divider is probably a good thing. My only reason for including that FAQ was because I thought there was a good comparison picture between the two manifolds. I might have been thinking of another vfaq, and I didn't look at that particular one when I posted the link, even though I looked at the other two.
