Car is blowing smoke out of exhaust, trying to find cause...
When doing a compression test how much lower will FPCam2x lower the compression over the stock ones?
I have 8.5:1 piston rings and have 150psi on all 4 cylinders. Is that normal with performance cams?

Simply add a tea (not table) spoon of oil before doing another compression check. If the compression goes up dramatically then you likely have blown rings.

I have fp2Xs and I read 150 psi across the board w/ stock displacement, stock 7.8 pistons.

The thing is no smoke came out of the exhaust until I put in a bigger external oil cooler and changed the oil started it up and it started smoking. I primed it up before I started it. Not sure what could of happened between then maybe just coincidence (same kind of oil) Guess Ill just do a leak down test and see what happens.
