Difference in Automatic and M/T Radiators?

On 2g dsm's is there a difference between the auto and m/t radiators? I have been looking for a "performance" radiator because my crappy stock plastic outlet/inlet's are wearing away. I have seen some companys say m/t only and others don't mention it. Is there actually a difference? And if there is a difference what is it?

A/T radiators have a transmission fluid cooler built into them. You can use an A/T radiator in an M/T by simply not connecting anything to the transmission cooler. You cannot use an M/T radiator in an A/T car because you won't have any way to cool your transmission fluid.

As stated above by my fellow wiseman there are 2 different rads. An external trans cooler is a common upgrade with automatic transmissions and your car will actually run cooler by not having to cool that trans fluid as well as the coolant. I use my trans cooler ports on my rad as my power steering cooler because I had an auto in my car and swapped. It just makes a cleaner install with the FMIC no more bent up pipe zip tied in the front.
