I've been up for hours searching now, and I can't come up with a logical answer. I have a chance to buy a VAFC2 from a Honda friend for cheap. He went with AMS stand alone, so he said if i wanted it, its mine. Well before I buy it, is there any difference besides the VTEC controller? Will this work on my DSM? Can anyone help me out?

Other than the possibilities of not having the proper wires to hook it up . It is an air fuel comp . But different programing . I would not try it , If it was universal they would not make one for vtecs . :notgood:

Not 100% sure but I would say they are interchangable, minus the fact you wont be needing to tune VTEC. I've installed both but I never actually used the VAFC.

Tell him you'll buy it if it works out ;)

Or call APEXi usa.

Thanks for the answers. I didn't think it would work, but I am going to call Apexi monday morning to know for sure. I was hoping to get a definate answer this weekend because his car goes for dyno tuning tomorrow afternoon, and I could pick it up then and install it. But I will post what i find out from Apexi monday morning.
