Difference between GSX and Tsi AWD

Hey guys, I've been contemplating on whether or not to sell my 98 Eclipse n/a. If I did sell it, I woudl get either a GSX or a Tsi AWD. Ok, from what I've researched a little, do you guys think I could find a Tsi AWD for cheaper than a GSX? What, if any, differences are there between a GSX and a Tsi AWD other than the body style? In your opinion guys, which do you think I should go with, being only 16 and kinda short on cash? Thanks for the help in advance guys.

This might sound rediculous but Im starting to wonder if your ready for one of these cars??? There alot of maintence and repairs can be costly. 9 times out of 10 if you buy a used dsm and do not know how to work on it, its gonna cost ya. $$$

Honestly I do think I'm ready for one of these cars. Even though I'm young, I still have the deterimination to own a turbo DSM I think. Plus, my dad will always lend a hand to me and help me out if I have any problems. I realize that things will break on it, I'm ok with that. I know things will go wrong and require maybe a lot of money to fix and repair. This is my hobby, I live for cars. (and no im not a young idiot ricer)

Go for it! I just said that becuase your really not, but just because your not ready doesnt mean you cant buy one and learn the hard way, like most of us did! I just wish I had done more reaserch when I bought my first dsm, maybe then I could have saved money from fixing all the B.S. and could have put that money into performance parts etc..
The main reason I said that is because if you dont know the diff in the cars then what do you know? you see where Im coming from? Im not tying to a d#$k head.

Well I know the difference between them and I only posted this thread just to make sure I was right. I know I will have to learn the hard way a lot of the time but hey its no fun if you never have any problems right?

^^^ See, thats actually really close to where I live, less than 40 miles from me. But I've always heard to steer away from cars with mods already done to them because they might have been abused. Plus both of those have over 100k miles. What do you guys think?

The way I look at a modded car is if somone took the time and money to put mods into it then they have taken the time to take care of the car too, i have also noticed that people who mod their car just keep the regular maintanence caught up as well like fuel filters, timing belts, water pumps, power steering, oil pumps and all that cause they know how much of a pain in the a$$ it can be to get back to that stuff. If you take the oil cap off and look inside and the cams and wall are yellowish oil changes were not done religously take the top timing cover off look inside you see any oil if not its most likely been a well maintained car check the bottom and sides of the oil pan, sorry to go on and on about this but most people dont look at the flip side of this.

I only have one comment to this whole thread. Real men drive talons . Just kidding eclipse and laser guys don't flame me. I think the talon is the best bang for the buck. You get everything that the eclipse has, but for maybe a grand or two less. Think of it this way. Eclipse = Marshall Fields, Talon = Carson Pirie Scott, Laser = TJ Max or Marshalls.

Nah, thats to big of a worth difference, I'd give lasers at least a walmart or costco.

I continuously see people saying i want to keep mine sleeper well in my eyes how much more sleeper does it get then a laser no body mods except for 2 tone paint and minor body and honestly i would pick a laser before any of them cause i would not want mine to stick out as much as the eclipse or talons do with the stock kits. but how can you actually sit there and rate any dsm like that they are all the same, just exterior differnces. some people.
