Did I just screw my turbo up with my K&N filter oil??

Followed the instructions to recharge my FIPK and allowed the oil to dry like it said for 20min, I let it dry prolly 35-40min. Thing is I emptied the full bottle(this normal??) of the oil on it to soak every last white/grey fiber on the filter. Drove the car maybe 20min getting up to 115 on 469(heading to New Haven for those in FT Wayne) to get to the Mitsu dealer in time. Anyways I let my car sit in the garage overnight, drove the car the next day(today) with no noticable symptoms, but when I got home I found a huge puddle of the red K&N oil. Believe it is still dripping oil now, its 1am now so I'll just check in the morning.

Is it possible to suck that oil thru the filter and MAS and into my 16g pulling 10psi?
If I did suck this oil into the turbo what kinda dmg are we talking about?

honestly 99% chance is none. what i would do is follow the directions i use about 1/3rd of a bottle when i do mine and thats plenty. take the filter off and put a ran on the inside of it and shake it out so the access hopefully flys off. then mabey let it sit in the sun a lil while

I don't see how the oil could hurt your turbo. Look at the underside of all your air plumbing to find where it's leaking from & I hope it's not yoir intercooler, more likely MAF or hoses at clamps etc. You might have invented a new way to check for air leaks!

i was reccomended to not use oil at all, but if i do, just berely spray the filter because if u have too much on it can suck it in the maf and #### it all up.

Your boost doesn't much matter to the intake, but yes, you can suck the oil out of an overloaded filter. Remember the part of the directions where it says to run the oil along the pleats until the white turns red? And to let it sit overnight?

Wash it out and start over. Don't use so much oil.

None. You wouldn't have gotten enough to worry about.

Minimal oil on garage floor today but poped it off anyways. Checked the MAS and Intake tube for K&N oil and there was nada so I guess its fine now. Wiped off the bottom of filter anyways and let dry for awhile after changing the oil.Didn't reclean it saw no point to buy another recharge kit when its already clean. Thanks guys.
