The wires fromt the harness are so small. Would scotchguard connectors work well enough or is it absolutely necessary that I splice these tiny wirees and solder them???


Any input would be greatly appreciated.

PS-this is for a 95 tsi

And yes I've read all the How to install vfaqs from prostreet etc.
 
cool, did you cut them with scissors or crimps?

I just did an install and I had to cut the black covering back some. The wires on the ECU side were only 1 or 2 inches long. I would definately suggest soldering them though and tie wrap them up and out of the way.
