Did 1998 Eagle Talon ESi's come standard with keyless entry?

I have been looking all over the web for this and cannot seem to find any information. Does anybody know the answer to this question?

As in having a key FOB for locking and unlocking the doors? I dont think it was standard equipment. Im still not 100% sure on this though. My 2g didnt come with any FOBs, but one day I opened the door and the alarm started going off at me. I didnt even know it had one.

But I still dont think it was standard equipment.

Edmunds says that the 1998 ESI comes standard with a remote trunk release... Yet it says keyless entry was an option.. I'm not sure how acurate edmunds is, haha.

Yeah, that's the lever next to the gas flap lever.

If the green SECURITY lamp comes on in your dash when you lock all the doors with the key out of the ignition, then you have the alarm and remote.

haha, I was thinking that, but isn't that a lever? Its not remote.. And I spec'ed my car and it didnt say it had a remote trunk release.

Unless it means the trunk release is "remote"(located), not on the trunk. And it doesn't list it on my model or any other car as a feature, because every car comes with one, haha. They must've ran out of features to list for that year.

Ok so im wondering if most of our 95+ turbo dsm's came with keyless entry? My friend just bought a 95 gst and his has it factory. Well I have a 95 gsx and i would figure it should too. I only have one key so i assume someone lost the other with the fob maybe? How can i tell if i have it or not, and if i do can i just buy a used one from some one and have it programed? Im used to keyless and would like to have it even if i have to add it on. Thanks

How do I tell if my car is equipped with keyless entry? I just purchased my 97 Eclipse RS and it didn't come with a keyless entry remote, just a key. It has power everything, but I don't know if it has keyless entry and all I need to do is buy a remote. Is there an easy well to tell?

edit : just read the FAQ on the subject. I checked the black ire connector. I believe I have it. Can anyone confirm it is the red/black wire?
