But yeah, I locked my tires pretty good on both of those corners the first run.
you did see the chevy s10 run, right? it actually kicked a bit of ass! you should run a ranger! hopefully results are posted relatively quickly.
I actually am looking at a 3000gt right now. So I may show up in one of those...

It had better be turbo. don't buy something heavy and underpowered like a non-turbo 3000gtI actually am looking at a 3000gt right now. So I may show up in one of those...

vr4 baby!... I'm a little down on hopes for it though. The guy said it has been for sale for a week and there is a bunch of people coming to look at it this week. The soonest i will be able to go see it is next wed.
Yo, way back then, when Gran Turismo came out I remember the 3000GT VR-4 had 4 wheel drive steering, meaning all 4 turned. Is that really true?

Yeah, the VR4 had four wheel steering. But the back only turned 1.5 degrees. It was more of a gimmick, than anything else.

With a heavy, understeery car on an X course, every little bit helps.Yeah, the VR4 had four wheel steering. But the back only turned 1.5 degrees. It was more of a gimmick, than anything else.

It was a time when all the japanese cars had all wheel steering. supra, 300zx, event the prelude and the mx-6! the aws doesn't help much except when doing really high speed turns really fast. if you drive one, try switching lanes on the interstate. you really feel the car follow through and not "wiggle" like normal cars. at least this is my experience.
Is everyone who attended the meet on July 12th going to our meet on August 9th?
Do you allow 3000gt's? Or did you want it to be just dsms.... Or are 3kgt's considered dsms?
*nodnod* I was quite pleased to see that Jeremy accepted my invite and brought his Evo.as you can see from the pictures on our website other DSM enthusiasts showed up in their non-DSM vehicles.
Jeremy has owned quite a few dsms and from what i hear, he pioneered running a 4g63 on the megasquirt ecu. he is way more of a dsm enthusiast than i am*nodnod* I was quite pleased to see that Jeremy accepted my invite and brought his Evo.

on another note, 3ks are NOT dsms. dsms were a joint venture between chrysler and mitsu and were all built in normal, il. 3ks were built in japan and imported. aside from that i know i would love to see them show up to our meets. they are like the dsm's big brothers. they use a lot of the engineering inspirations and the engines are even quite similar.
I asked, and he verified. He did indeed (with one other) pioneer the use of Megasquirt on a DSM.Jeremy has owned quite a few dsms and from what i hear, he pioneered running a 4g63 on the megasquirt ecu. he is way more of a dsm enthusiast than i am.
