Has anyone ever heard of Diamond pistons? I was having a custom set made and they are very affordable. I was told they are just as good as Wiseco. Summit Racing uses them in there one drag car. I was just wondering if anyone ever heard of them. Thanks~CLIFF

They are forged auminum pistons. And affordable to me is $679. and they are made to my custom specs because of my motor that I am building. That includes Rings, pins, and pistons. The turbod Cavy Clan(LOL) TOLD me they were good. Some Honda tuners said the same. So I am asking us what is the outcome of this piston. I thought taht 800 is a little much. So, yeah I was TOLD, and I am asking here on my forums what YOUs think.

Whats the point if you can get a proven product like Wiseco that is less than $450 shipped to your door with coated skirt pistons, pins, and rings?

So obviously you could get a higher "rated HP" piston for less than that. Maybe you just want to try something new, more power to you.

Because MY PIN is offset. other wise I would just buy JE. Wiseco hasn't gave me a price on my CUSTOM piston. Read that I wrote a CUSTOM piston. I have 2mm oversized valves and I had them Fly cut to MY SPECS, and Pin moved on the piston I also had the rings moved as well....> and my dimentions.

Most people throw around "custom" like they own their own fabrication shop and build everything to A+++ specifications - so I assume "custom" is a high school term now that a lot of individuals use to sound cool.

Sorry for the confusion. NOW it sounds like youre getting a good deal. This must be a drag engine?

Yeah, it is.... I know the feeling. If a boy buys a AFC and wires it in its a CUSTOM job.hahaha. Anyway, I went through about 4hrs of measuring and converting from mm to inches. and back and forth. Some companies want inches others watn mm's. It suxs.LOL. Anyway, I think I talked to you a long time ago. Its just hard. Could you look at there site diamondracing.net. Tell me what you think. That goes for anyone. Post what you think....

I went back and corrected my address. It was diamondracing.net. Tell me what you think. ANYONE???

I have used Diamond pistons on several Ford V8 projects. They seem like good pistons. I like them much better than Wiesco.

That is the kind of info I was looking for. I saw that they are used in a lotta V8's but I wanted to see how they would do in the import community.LOL. Much better than Wiseco, huh? that makes it even better ### Im not really a fan of them anyway.... Anything else about them?????
