Halifax,
hi everyone.....i have a 1g tsi fwd, its stock but i have a small 16g....the whole exhaust system is falling apart from the turbo back, so i have found a 2.5 " turbo back exhaust from diamond star specialties...can anyone tell me anything about them, good or bad experiences with them. ohh and it does come with a high flow cat so the car will be street legal. any help would be great
Dave :talon:

does anyone know how loud they are, i honestly dont want something abnoxious sounding, i just want a good durable, performance exhaust.

With a 2.5" turbo-back and a cat, you shouldn't have any problems with sound ; I bet your ripped apart stock exhaust is more noisy at the moment. It's not as if you were going 3" all the way, no cat and dump o2!

haha, i just talked to Dave sheppard at 'DSS' and he said it will be at least a month before i can get the system OMG .
o well, my car will be sitting in the garage for the winter anyways. im thinking i should get quite a bit of power from this system, there will be no restriction except for the cat obviously.Any idea what horsepower ill be making? (s16g and turbo back exhaust)
my best guess would be 225hp. :rocks:

I ordered an UICP and Joe P. manual boost controller from them and the boost controller came fine, but I e-mailed them about the UICP for about 4 months, got one response, didn't make any sense, never heard from them again. Bought UICP from Dejon got here in 2 DAYS! the DSS exhaust looks amazing, I think it's put together with magnaflow parts, so it should be good, if it ever gets to you
