hey tuners, i have developed a new boost controller for those of you having boost fluctuation (spike, creep, etc). basically the controller does not use a diaphragm. instead the diaphragm, it is replaced with a electro mechanical device. controlling it using a PWM (pulse width modulation) signal. boost control is no longer dependent on vacuum or pressure. obviously there is a pressure sensor referenced but pressure can be set by gear, rpm, and by simple pressure sensor. the merit of this controller is in the device i use to actuate the waste gate. while under boost the device will open and close a couple degrees keeping the pressure in the cross hairs. the waste gate can also be actuated MANUALLY by two buttons open and close or "scramble" where the pressure will keep rising for the amount of time the tactile switch is pressed.
heres a pic:
i use the word device to protect my idea.
