deleting 2nd o2 sensor on catback ???

Heres my Question, i had my tenabe catback exhuast with hi flow cat on my car and my check engine light came on about ehh 30 miles on the exhaust and my car starts dumping alot of fuel.. also smoking somewhat.. i talked to a friend he said something about deleting the 2nd o2 sensor on the exhaust... i have no clue what to do and i really want the exhaust back on my car soon.

The second O2 is only for monitoring the cat's performance. I have had mine wired up outside the exhaust or removed for the last three years with nothing more than the odd CEL.

Well it sounds like something else is going wrong. How is your front O2? If it is shot it will send your car into a rich limp mode that will maybe give you symptoms that you are experiencing. What is the CEL for do you know?

front o2 sensor is in good condition / nothing wrong with it.. its just i have a brand new engine in my car and was wandering if the catback exhaust can damage my engine ?

No I don't have msn or aim. Sorry just way to busy for it. To make it simple an exhaust with no obvious defects ie huge dents or kinks or blocked cat. will not damage your engine. This has got to be something else. You need to post more info on what it's doing or not doing , what is the CEL you get when you have trouble?
