My Dejon UICP replaces the TB elbow, so it is a 2-1/4" pipe with a flange welded to the end which bolts up to the TB.
Well, the weld at the flange is leaking (about 45* of it seems to be leaking/making bubbles
).
I recently went through the task of replacing the TB gaskets where I had a boost leak, so I don't want to pull the four bolts out and fux with the UICP and reintroduce a TB gasket leak.
Any ideas of a way to stop this leak without pulling the TB off again?
The leak wasn't horrible. I was holding 20psi, but it leaked down maybe 1psi/second when I removed pressure from the tester valve.
On a positive note, I just successfully replace my injector insulators and o-rings thus fixing the boost leak at the insulators. Despite following the fuel line depressurization protocol, I still got sprayed in the face with gas when I pulled the high pressure fuel line
. My hair still smells like gas.

Anyway, I've had good luck with JB on some load bearing items so I dont see why that wouldnt work if you dont want to remove the uicp from the tb. it would be quick n easy, but wont be pretty.
