Thats good I guess then if they will let you run without it since its a once a year thing. I'm sure you plan on getting one eventually though anyhow. I have a video of a local mid 4 sec 1/8th mi Turbo Mustang that crashed on the big end going around 150 and flipped 4 times.
Don’t make me so nervous man. I am not a very safety conscious guy. I don’t think high 11 sec cars should need cages. I am never really out of shape going down the track. The problem is that Im a big guy 6’5 275 and getting a cage with the main hoop notched and angled properly with swingouts is BIG money and that doesn’t make my car any faster. I’m going to drag my heels to the bitter end.

What is your real goal ET wise with the car?
I think 10.7@134 or maybe even a better trap is reasonable when I get these new tires and a bit more tuning :dsm:

Sorry, didn't mean to worry you. In his defense, his throttle cable got stuck open and he just lost control. I know what you mean about the height thing. I'm 6'8 240 :)

I'm sure you'll hit that with no problem once you get all the little things worked out.

Hahahaha! Yeah. I think mid 11s at mid 120s may be in my close future. I dont know about 130, until I get a new manni and go full Garrett. My car is even heavier than Dave's. But, ask him if he would dare drive his car to the SO.;)
